The Toronto Pro Hockey Brick Team is excited to compete in the 2019 Brick Invitational in Edmonton. This years team is made up of talented and dedicated players from across Ontario, including the Greater Toronto Area, Whitby, and Ottawa. The Pro Hockey Development Team began its evaluation process back in August 2018. The format and process used before 2022 (the team was selected in mid-January after viewing the players in 3-5 scrimmages) worked well, but we felt it did not allow players to show their true abilities and there can be a lot of changes from January to May. The 2017 team is mainly composed of players from Southeastern Michigan and coached by a nonparent staff. We have representations from Victoria, Kamloops, Vernon, Greater Vancouver, and Fraser Valley this season. Over 100 players attended the tryout session at the United Center. Players from USAs Pacific and Rocky Mountain Districts attended evaluation camps in their home region and advanced to a main tryout camp in the spring to make the team.
